News Tampa Bay Holds LandWarNet Conference

News from Tampa Bay stated that the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) is hosting the LandWarNet conference next week in Tampa Bay. The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association is a non-profit membership association for those working in military, government, academia and industrial fields. With 31,000 members, the LandWarNet conference is an ethical forum, providing members opportunity for members to network and learn extensive knowledge in the fields of IT, intelligence, global security and communications.

The LandWarNet conference is held every year in different spots in the US. This year Tampa Bay has been selected to hold the conference.

The conference starting on the 3rd to 5th August will be held at the Tampa Convention Center. It is expected that at least 6500 delegates will attend. The locals in Tampa Bay are delighted for the major boost in the economy with 10,000 hotel rooms being booked per night and an estimated impact of the event in Tampa Bay of $3,000,000.
